What caused pain

Most pain comes from tissue damage, the pain stems from an injury to the body’s tissues. People feel pain when specific nerves detect tissue damage and transmit information about the damage along the spinal cord to the brain.

Treatment

Acupuncture has been recognised as an effective treatment for chronic pain. The insertion of needles to certain parts of the body will physically stimulate the affected nervous system, tissues of muscles and increase blood flow to enhance body’s natural healing ability.

Massage and exercise

Therapeutic massage helps to relieve pain by relaxing painful muscles, tendons, and joints. It also reduce the pain feeling by relieving stress and anxiety by stimulating competing nerve fibers and impeding pain messages to and from the brain.

Infertility

How Acupuncture can help

Acupuncture aids in blood flow to the reproductive organs and stabilizes hormone levels. This in turn will increase ovarian function in women as well as sperm production in men.

Treatment

Acupuncture and TCM is also used in conjunction with Western Treatments such as injectables, IUI and IVF. The stress relief commonly associated with Acupuncture treatments has a direct link to fertility because stress can reduce the function of the hypothalamic-anterior pituitary- ovarian axis, thus leading to infertility.

Successful rate

We have been treating infertility patients with acupuncture since 2002 with many successes, the age of most patients for infertility are between 33 to 42, after the series of acupuncture, the average success rate is 75%.
